The Endless Summer is 50 Years Old!

Happy 50th Birthday to the epic 1966 journey taken by Robert August and Mike Hynson!  This film shaped so many personalities in my generation and in my immediate community.  It pre-defined many future generations of surf culture, and forever erased that dorky Hollywood image of surfers that had been so popular in the 1950's beach films.  In color.   LOL
